The time to make a difference is now! Apply now for Sierra Club's Environmental Career Apprenticeship Program
Sierra Club, America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization is offering paid 6-month positions that will train recent college graduates in the skills that are necessary to launch successful careers in the field of environmental protection and advocacy. Participants will be guided, coached and mentored by experienced Club staff as they handle responsibilities for organizing communities, public outreach and education, media relations and building coalitions with other partner organizations.
The program, located in Washington DC, welcomes the second class of apprentices on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. The application period for the 2009 class is currently closed. Sierra Club will be accepting applications for the 2010 class of Apprentices in January of 2010. Note that the program will run from July through December 2010.
